A candle is not a singular entity but one created by a colony of bees, moulded by craftsmen. In the same way Mary was both unique and shaped by her relationships with all those around her - loving parents, grandparents, brother and sister, sister in law, boyfriend, nieces, cousins, aunties and uncles and a host of amazing friends. Like a candle she burned brightly and passionately attracting everyone towards her. In return she offered warmth, joy, unfaltering loyalty and a unique strength of character. And like the candle even when it no longer burns, her bright, shining light remains in our hearts and memories forever. Mary was a passionate advocate for anyone in need and would never back down from anything she felt was a worthy cause.
